The bbfc rating for this short film is 12A, because our film includes;
Drugs: "Misuse of drugs must be infrequent and should not be glamorised or give detailed instruction." However, no drugs are directly included in our film. The influence of drugs in our short film is portrayed through a prop, although it isn't direct drug use it may be interpreted differently.
Nudity: There may be nudity, but in a sexual context it must be brief and discreet. The main protagonist is topless throughout our short film, hence why the rating we gave is a 12A
Dangerous behaviour: "No promotion of potentially dangerous behaviour which children are likely to copy. No glamorisation of realistic or easily accessible weapons such as knives. No endorsement of anti-social behaviour." The character shows an addictive response to one of the props in the short film, however the addiction isn't dangerous, so it should not be considered as dangerous behaviour as such.
Threat and horror: "There may be moderate physical and psychological threat and horror sequences. Although some scenes may be disturbing, the overall tone should not be. Horror sequences should not be frequent or sustained." There are a small amount of scenes that are considered as threatening, this could be noticed through the reactions from a prop that the character has, but other then that it isn't too horrific.
